Trip Overview

Mardi himal trekking is one of the best example of adventure camping trekking in Nepal. This moderate Macchapuchare Mardi himal tented camping trek offers incredible views of the mountains towering white peaks contrasts sharply with the deep blue skies and diverse enthic culture and lifestyle.

After exploring the Kathmandu wonders of cultural heritage sites we follow the meandering road to Pokhara, trek-starting point for Annapurna trekking. In our Mardi himal trek we start our trek from the 1000 meters to 4400 meters in a week time.

The journey continues higher and subtropical forest is replaces by the alpine forest. We will spend the day at the High camp with the opportunity to exploration more higher ridge toward the base of Mardi himal and Fishtail peak on the dramatic Annapurna himalayan range.

Outline Itinerary

  • Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel / welcome dinner with Nepali cultural program.
  • Day 02 : Cultural tour to Buddhist stupa and Pashupatinath temple: witness the sacred Hindu cremation done in public way.
  • Day 03 : Drive to Pokhara, Annapurna trekking starting point, over night at hotel.
  • Day 04 : Short drive to Annapurna foothill and gradual ascend to Dhampus.
  • Days 05 - 08 : Trekking to high camp via forest camp. An exploration day towards the Mardi himal, savour the stunning close-up himalayan views of Macchapuchhare (Fishtail peak) and Annapurnas.
  • Days 09 -11 : Descend to Milan chowk via the low camp and traditional siding village. Short drive to Pokhara / stay at hotel / time to explore the lake city.
  • Day 12 : Drive to Kathmandu on private vehicle
  • Day 13 : Trip end / airport departure.
