Trip Overview

Standing on a Himalayan summit with the less time consumption, Yala peak is one of the easy trekking peak climbing expedition in Nepal, the best alternate for those climbers who have been seeking the thrill of adventure beyond hiking simply in two-week time. Walking through the dense forest and traditional ethnic settlements you reach to the wonderful base camp of Yala peak.

You will have stunning views of Lantang Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang 7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m) and mighty Shishapangma (8027m) in Tibetan side. The climb to Yala Peak is non-technical. Prior climbing experience is not required however outdoor experience and average level of fitness is the most.

Outline Itinerary

  • Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel / welcome Nepali style dinner with ethnic cultural program.
  • Day 02 : Visit to Buddhist shrine and Hindu Pashupatinath temple: witness the sacred Hindu Cremation done in public way. PM is free.
  • Day 03 : Drive to Syabru Besi, commence Langtang trekking.
  • Day 04-06 : Trek to Kangen Gompa via the Himalayan settlement of Lama and Langtang.
  • Day 08 - 09 : Trek to Yala base camp and nest day summit the top to experience the Himalayan summit thrill.
  • Day 10 - 12 : Trekking down hill to Syabru.
  • Day 13 : Drive back to Kathmandu.
  • Day 14 : Free day in Kathmandu.
  • Day 15 : Trip end / Airport departure.
