Trip Overview

Everest base camp trekking is one of the classic treks of once in a lifetime adventure destinations in the world.  It offers incredible mountain profile and wonderful insight into the hard Sherpa life and Bhuddist culture and tradition. Trekking through the heart of Sherpa settlements, we reach to the Mount Everest base camp and Kala Pathar, the trip highest vantage point to see the majestic Everest souring above your. Towering peaks: Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamaserku, Kwonde peaks surround you at all times in your Mount Everest Base camp trekking.

In our trekking trip to Everest base camp in Himalayas, we stay in lodges under the shadow of the Mount Everest, Mani walls, chorterns and prayer flags enjoying the great plentyful food and traditional Sherpa hospitality. We have allocated enough acclimatization days on the way up. We walk on relaxed pace below the incredible snow capped peaks, through the beautiful forest, friendly Sherpa villages.

After exploring the sights and sounds of bustling Kathmandu – listed as trip advisor traveller choice 2013 top 3 destination rising city in the world – including Buddhist and Hindu world heritage sites, we take an exciting mountain flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest trekking. We follow the Dudh Koshi valley to Namche, an unofficial capital of the Sherpa and then to less trodden route via Khamjung and Photse for better acclimations and exploration and of course in our effort to walk different routes instead of walking up and down the same route of tradition route.

The alpine scenery becomes more rugged as we trek above the tree line to reach Dingboche for further acclimatision and exploratoin. Following the Khumbu glacier moraines we head to Lobuche and then to Gorak Shep. We climb to the summit of Kala Pathar (5545m) for the stunning 360-degree panoramic views of the world’s highest peaks. Leaving historical footprints on Everest base camp we head back to Lobuche and then Lukla completing our adventure holiday trip to Everest base camp trekking in Himalayas.
