Trip Highlights

24 days trip and 15 days of challenging trek across some of the worlds’s most stunning landscapes Trekking the Manaslu massif with exploration of Tibetan settlements Cross the high altitude Larkeya la pass over 5200 meter.

Trip Overview

Manaslu trekking offers a unique opportunity to experience relatively untouched part of Nepal to explore the diversity culture and tradition. Trekking is Manasalu was officially opened to tourists in 1991 but mountaineering expeditions have had long access to this region. In 1950, a team led by H W Tillman trekked from Tonje to Bhimtang and Col. Jirmy Roberts crossed Larke La (5230m) looking for an interesting mountain to climb.

However Manaslu was climbed only in 1956 by the Japanese Expedition Team. The trek starts from the ramparts of an historical place perched on a ridge high above Gorkha in central Nepal and Manaslu Himal appears like a rugged arctic wall far to the north. It is a trek with sensational mountain views is culturally fascinating and has one of the most dramatic Himalayan high altitudes pass called Larke La. Much of this trek is in the region known as Nupri, an area of strong Tibetan influence with the trade route between the regions still active. It is a trek that brings your adventure dream come true.
