Trip Overview

The ascent of Annapurna I, the first breakthrough of 8,000m peak by French climbers, Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal in the 1950 generated the curiosity among nature lovers to explore these concealed valleys. Since then Annapurna, now the largest protected area in Nepal is exposed to thousands of traveler every year which is rich in biodiversity and has unique features making it the most beautiful place and not-to-be-missed destination.

This amazing 9 days exploration starting from the foothills of Annapurna to the secluded mountain terrain of Khopra Ridge is one of the most marvelous hikes to experience Nepal. The exceptional culture, beautiful people, and amazing views of lofty peaks of Annapurna I, II, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Nilgiri, Annapurna Fang (BarahShikar) is alluring. This trek is also known as Annapurna Dhaulagiri Community trek as we use community lodges for accommodation whose profits goes to several projects for the benefit of the locals. This route is infrequently visited and is best for those who want to break away from the commercial trails and enjoy the tranquility with outstanding views.
