Trip Overview
Kathmandu valley trekking is a short and most fascinating trek for those who have limited time in Nepal for the introductory trekking with exotic Chitwan jungle safari. The trek is followed by the Chitwan Jungle Safari where you will track the rare Royal Bengal tiger, one-horned rhinoceroses, slot bear, crocodile and many other species of birds and animals, which will enchant as you explore this pristine Jungle area.
Mountain Monarch has designed this trek especially for family groups with children, as it is a leisurely walk in beautiful vicinity with enough opportunity to understand the local people, their villages, culture and lifestyle. The trek offers 180 -degree mountain views stretching from far west Annapurna range to east Everest. For those who are interested in flora and fauna spring is the best time to come.
Outline Itinerary
- Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel / welcome dinner with ethnic cultural program.
- Day 02 : Visit to Buddhist shrine and Hindu Pashupatinath temple: witness the sacred Hindu Cremation done in public way. PM is free.
- Day 03 : Drive to Changunarayan and trekking start.
- Day 04-06 : Trekking to Chisapani and Shivapuri Danda: enjoy the central Himalayan vista from Annapurna, Langtang and Everest ranges. Trekking back to Bhudanikanda Hindu holy site and then short drive to Kathmandu/ Hotel stay
- Day 07 : Drive to Chitwan National park and jungle safari start.
- Day 08 : Full day Chitwan jungle safari including the elephant back safari.
- Day 09 : Jungle safari end / drive to Kathmandu / Rest and exploration day in Kathmandu
- Day 10 : Trip end and airport transfer.
